The 45-Hour Sales Associate Post-Licensing Course is a state-mandated educational requirement for all Florida real estate sales associates renewing their license for the first time. It is designed to bridge the gap between "passing the exam" and "building a successful business."
Critical Warning: No Grace Period
Unlike standard renewals, this first renewal cycle is strict. You must complete this course before your license expiration date (listed on your license, typically 18–24 months after issuance).
If you miss this deadline: Your license status becomes Null and Void. You will be stripped of your license and must restart the entire process—including retaking the 63-hour pre-licensing course and the state exam—to practice real estate again.
What You Will Learn
This course moves beyond legal theory into practical application. The 45-hour curriculum focuses on the day-to-day skills needed to operate a profitable business, including:
Business Planning: How to structure your business for longevity and profit.
Marketing & Prospecting: Strategies for finding clients and servicing listings.
Transaction Management: Practical handling of contracts, closings, and negotiations.
Finance & Economics: Understanding mortgages, appraisals, and investment analysis.
