There is no limit to the number of times you can take the Florida Real Estate State Exam. You may retake the exam as many times as necessary until you achieve a passing score of 75%.
Retake Rules & Logistics
While you can take the test unlimited times, you must adhere to the following rules for each attempt:
Waiting Period: You must wait at least 24 hours after a failed attempt before scheduling a new appointment.
Fee: You must pay the $36.75 exam fee for every single attempt.
Booking: Schedule your retake directly through Pearson VUE by calling 888-204-6230 or visiting their website.
Critical Warning: The 2-Year Time Limit
Although exam attempts are unlimited, your eligibility is not.
Course Expiration: Your "Course Completion Certificate" (from your 63-Hour or 72-Hour course) is only valid for 2 years from the date you passed your class exam.
The Consequence: If you do not pass the state exam within this 2-year window, your education expires. You will be required to retake the entire pre-licensing course before you can sit for the state exam again.
